Job Description
Bioinformatics Analyst I
50: Pipeline Development & Optimization: Develop maintain and optimize bioinformatics pipelines for NGS data including demultiplexing quality control alignment and downstream analyses. Collaborate with the Cyber Infrastructure team to establish seamless endtoend data flow integrating sequencing data with data management systems.
40: Bioinformatics Analysis: Assist with bioinformatics analyses for a variety of applications including RNASeq singlecell RNASeq ChIPSeq ATACSeq spatial transcriptomics genome assembly and annotation variant calling functional analysis and metagenomics projects.
10: Additional Duties: Support other bioinformaticsrelated tasks and departmental needs as required.
$60000 $65000
A bachelors degree in appropriate area of specialization.
Understanding of biostatistics and scientific data visualization.
Experience with pipeline frameworks (e.g. Nextflow Snakemake).
Application of AI/ML methods to omics data analysis.
Experience working with LIMS systems particularly integrating sequencing workflows.
