We are seeking a dedicated and detailoriented Medical Laboratory Assistant to join our clients team in Slough Berkshire. As a Band 2 Medical Laboratory Assistant you will play a crucial role in supporting our laboratory operations ensuring the smooth and efficient processing of samples. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start or further their career in the medical laboratory field.
What will your responsibilities be:
In this role the Medical Laboratory Assistant will be responsible for a variety of tasks to support the laboratory team. Duties include preparing and processing patient samples maintaining laboratory equipment and ensuring all records are accurately kept. The assistant will also assist with the reception and handling of specimens perform basic laboratory tests and ensure that all health and safety protocols are strictly followed. Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards will be essential in ensuring the quality and reliability of the laboratory services.
