Job Description

Cambridge International Systems Inc. has a fulltime Electrical/Electronic Engineer IV opportunity available based in Charleston SC. Qualified candidates for this job must possess a current DoD Secret security clearance.

ROLE RESPONSIBILTIES
  • Electrical and electronics engineers design develop test and supervise the manufacturing of electrical and electronic equipment including broadcast and communications systems electric motors machinery controls lighting and wiring in buildings automobiles aircraft radar and navigation systems and transmission devices used by electric utilities. Electrical and electronics engineers work closely with computers.
  • Electrical and electronics engineers specialize in different areas such as power generation transmission distribution communications and electrical equipment manufacturing. Electrical and electronics engineers
  • design new products write performance requirements and develop maintenance schedules. They also test equipment solve operating problems and estimate the time and cost of engineering projects.
Required QUALIFICATIONS
  • Must possess an active DoD Secret security clearance.
  • Masters or BS degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering.
  • Ten 10 years with Masters or 14 years with BS degree of professional experience with design develop test and supervise the manufacturing/integration of electrical and electronic equipment to include: Technology Analysis and Assessment Design Definition Development of Systems Specification Systems Analysis Systems Architecture Systems/Equipment Integration Test & Evaluation Criteria and Logistics support of C4ISR or similar requirements.
  • Five 5 years of technical experience in support of engineering testing implementing and leading team on control systems and Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs). Experience may be achieved simultaneously.
  • Must be proficient in using different technologies such as computers and other tools and systems pertinent to the position.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
  • In some occasions overnight travel may be required.

Please note that any offer of employment is contingent upon a background investigation. In connection with working on certain federal contracts a drug screen may also be required.
