Job Description

Job Title: PartTime Developer Representative
Location: New York City

About Us:
We are a premier highend condominium development located in New York City. Our property is newly constructed fully occupied and offers an elevated living experience for our residents. We are seeking an experienced and knowledgeable PartTime Developer Representative to oversee a variety of operations including property management construction management and act as a key member of the condominium board. This role is essential in ensuring that the property is managed effectively construction punch lists are addressed and the needs of residents are met.

Position Overview:
As a PartTime Developer Representative you will serve as the onsite presence for the development team. Your primary responsibilities will involve overseeing the property manager construction management tasks (with a focus on punch lists) and resident manager while also acting as a representative on the condo board. You will play a critical role in ensuring that the propertys ongoing operations meet the highest standards of quality and service while also ensuring smooth communication between the development team residents and the board.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Property & Construction Oversight:
    1. Serve as the main point of contact between the developer and the property management team ensuring smooth daytoday operations.
    2. Oversee the completion of any outstanding construction items especially punch lists ensuring that all construction work is completed to a high standard.
    3. Collaborate with the construction management team to monitor the resolution of any remaining construction issues including quality control and final inspections.
  2. Resident Manager & Property Operations:
    1. Oversee the work of the resident manager to ensure that residents are satisfied with services amenities and overall building management.
    2. Respond to escalated resident concerns maintenance issues and general service requests.
  3. Condominium Board Participation:
    1. Actively participate in condo board meetings representing the developers interests and providing insights on property operations budget considerations and longterm planning.
    2. Assist the board in decisionmaking regarding policies building improvements and services.
    3. Help bridge the communication between the developer and the condo board ensuring that developmentrelated matters are addressed in a timely manner.
  4. Strategic Guidance:
    1. Provide ongoing advice and recommendations on the operational aspects of the building to ensure its continued success and alignment with highend standards.
    2. Monitor the overall financial health of the property and collaborate with the management team to implement any necessary adjustments.

Requirements:

  1. Strong knowledge of New York City real estate and condominium operations particularly in highend luxury residential properties.
  2. Experience in construction management with a focus on quality assurance and punch list management.
  3. Previous experience on a condominium board or working closely with board members is a must.
  4. Technical knowledge of trades (HVAC plumbing electrical etc. and construction processes is essential for ensuring that punch list items are addressed and resolved to a high standard.
  5. Excellent communication skills with the ability to work closely with a range of stakeholders including developers property managers residents and contractors.
  6. Strong problemsolving abilities and the capacity to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a dynamic fastpaced environment.
  7. Ability to represent the developer effectively while maintaining professional relationships with all parties involved.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Previous experience working directly with highend occupied condominium buildings in New York City.
  2. Experience managing teams or overseeing property management operations for luxury developments.
  3. Familiarity with building systems construction timelines and local building codes.
  4. Flexibility to work parttime with availability for key meetings and site visits as required.

Work Schedule:
This is a parttime position with flexible hours though availability for key meetings and onsite visits is necessary. Hours will vary based on project needs and board schedules.

Compensation:
Competitive hourly rate commensurate with experience.
