Job Description
The overall objective is to support the local agencies efforts in training resource adoptive foster families in the Western region of the Virginia Department of Social Services.
Required Qualifications
Excellent interpersonal organizational oral and writing skills. Experience developing and presenting training. Computer proficiency in PowerPoint Word and Excel.
Preferred Qualifications
Understanding of Social Services in the Western region. Preferred experience in or knowledge of PRIDE program or approved preservice curriculums. Previous employment in Virginia State Department of Social Services as a CPS worker adoptions worker or trainer Foster Care worker or work with Kinship Families. Experience developing and presenting training to social workers and parents. Two years post masters social work experience.
