Job Description
Experiences & Responsibilities:
A minimum of 2 years of professional work experience as business analyst quality analyst or
product owner on technology development (analytics and data management) projects.
1 year experience in a handson functional role supporting systems development systems
implementation quality assurance or similar experience.
Experience working under SDLC or other softwarespecific project management process including
Agile/Scrum.
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong analytical skills. Synthesizes complex or diverse information; collects and researches data;
uses intuition and experience to complement data; designs workflows and procedures
Infectious curiosity and learning mindset; independently identifies areas of competency
development and designs learning goals to achieve expertise
Effective problemsolving skills. Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner; gathers and
analyzes information skillfully; develops alternative solutions; works well in group problemsolving
situations
Knowledge of project management tools and software development lifecycle (SDLC) strongly
desired.
Ability to effectively work with diverse constituencies
Proven record of process improvement strategies and implementation
Planning and organization & project management skills. Able to coordinate many different project
tasks (determines relative importance of each; prioritizes and plans work activities; sets appropriate
deadlines to complete activities accordingly); effectively manages time and resources; sets goals
and objectives
Excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to lead groups to consensus within defined
timeframes
Knowledge of PeopleSoft HR/Finance/Student ERP backend data structures highly desirable
Demonstrated expertise in the use of Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel Visio Project and
PowerPoint) required
Demonstrated expertise in enterprise data analysis and query tools: e.g. Tableau TOAD OBIEE
Cognos PowerBI Hadoop R/Python
