Responsibilities
The Underwriting Intern Casualty will train with key team members to learn and participate in the process of underwriting and servicing of renewal accounts for the development and retention of Admiral business over the course of approximately 10 weeks.
This intern position requires strong analytical skills applied in learning all aspects of the evaluation and pricing of Admiral renewal business in accordance with service standards objectives and following Admiral underwriting guidelines.
The internship will also involve a collaborative group project with interns from other Admiral departments. Other duties and tasks to be assigned in conjunction with the overall internship experience over the course of approximately 10 weeks.

Qualifications
- Pursuing a bachelors degree with a focus on Risk Management and Insurance. Other majors are encouraged to apply.
- GPA of 3.0 and above is required.
- Rising Junior or Senior students welcome.
- Interest in enhancing classroom learning through practical careerrelated work experience within the industry.
- Career interest in insurance Claims/Excess and Surplus Lines
- Prior work experience is preferred.
- Ability to assess priorities and manage deadlines effectively.
- Effective communication skills both verbal and written.
- Proven attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
- Strong research and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently.
Additional Company Details
This is a 10week paid internship June 2 2025 August 8 2025.
The hourly rate based on a 37.5 hour work week is $25.00 an hour.
This role does not offer a benefits package as it is a temporary summer internship position.
