The Role

Palantirs dynamic inhouse legal team works to proactively address legal issues so that Palantir can continue to drive positive impact in the world. As Legal Counsel you will be a key contributor to both the Legal team and the company as a whole. Were a team that values both creativity and teamwork whether operating solo or collaboratively we endeavour to achieve great results on challenging timesensitive projects. Youll be given open ended objectives and will find ways to turn them into outcomes. By focusing on the broad vision without losing sight of the details youll bring large and multiphase projects to successful completion while prioritising team outcomes over individual wins. You are able to deliver complex information in an understandable way and can manage high touch stakeholders in a constantly shifting landscape.

You enjoy the responsibility that comes with owning problems and finding solutions. You are empathetic and able to effectively navigate a complex organisation involving a wide variety of audiences including under timesensitive situations. You are ready to jump into a deal at a moments notice and become an expert on the intricate details of the contracts that enable Palantir to implement its cuttingedge technology to solve realworld problems. You are passionate about conceiving and implementing scalable systems that increase your impact and that of the inhouse legal team over time.

Core Responsibilities

    • Lead negotiation and drafting on commercial and international government deals and transactions while supporting the continuous improvement of standard form agreements and legal processes
    • Advise on complex legal and business matters to solve a multitude of challenges across the company
    • Partner closely with international sales teams on deal strategy and enterprise level relationships
    • Assist in building infrastructure and processes to optimally deliver legal support in a scalable manner
    • Collaborate with Business Operations Finance and Engineering teams to drive deals to

What We Require

    • Qualified lawyer with a minimum 3 year post qualification experience at a topfirm and/or inhouse with a degree from a toptier university/law school. Prior government and/or general procurement experience is a plus.
    • Eligibility and willingness to hold Her Majestys Government (HMG) security clearances
