Job Description

SECURITY CLEARANCE: TS/SCI with Polygraphs are required (VA)

POSITION: Senior DevOps Engineer

REQUISITION: AWSMSA03.0128425

LOCATION: Springfield VA or Herndon VA

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Design and implement highly available faulttolerant and distributed systems processing massscale geospatial datasets

DevOps and debugging of system performance cloud infrastructure and geospatial datasets

Deploy and monitor machine learning models in cloud environments using services like AWS SageMaker and CloudWatch.

Advanced in Typescript Python (Or OOP) writing and reviewing code for enterprise scale applications.

Possess excellent problemsolving skills and the ability to work independently within a fastpaced environment

REQUIREMENTS:

5 years of professional software development with experience at scale

Strong expertise in distributed systems design and microservice architecture

Deep understanding of cloudnative technologies and AWS services (ECS Lambda SQS SNS SageMaker RDS DynamoDB)

Extensive experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform CloudFormation or CDK)

Advanced proficiency in multiple programming languages (Python TypeScript/JavaScript Java etc)

DevOps: Monitoring (CloudWatch Prometheus etc) logging and alerting

Experience with containerization (Docker Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines

QUALIFICATIONS:

CERTIFICATION: any AWS certification(s) are preferred

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

Bachelors Degree 5 years

NOTE: Degree in computer science or IT computer engineering from an accredited college or university.
