Job Description
Role: Locum Pharmacy Technician
Banding: Band 5
Location: Birmingham
Start Date: ASAP
Rate: 19 22 per hour
Working hours: Full time
The Pharmacy team at Pulse is seeking a dedicated and experienced Locum Pharmacy Technician to join our team in London. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic and fastpaced acute environment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Dispense medications and provide pharmaceutical advice to patients and healthcare professionals. Manage and maintain accurate patient records. Assist in the preparation of medications under the supervision of a pharmacist. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines. Participate in the training and development of junior staff.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Experience/Knowledge:
- NVQ Level 3 in Pharmacy Services or Qualified Pharmacy Technician with relevant certification.
- Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) as a pharmacy technician.
- Minimum of 2 years postregistration NHS hospital pharmacy experience.
- Previous experience with JAC EPMA is desirable but not essential.
- Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare professionals.
- Good organizational skills to manage workload and meet deadlines.
- Strong problemsolving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
