Do you have experience in managing hotel reservations and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction

ManpowerGroupGreece on behalf of its client a dynamically developing company that provides services in the area of asset management and the hotel industry is looking for aReservation Sales & Marketing (Hospitality).

Location: Athens Greece

Working Model: onsite

You will be reporting to the Hotel & Operations Manager

Scope of the role:

We are seeking a dedicated professional to contribute to the strategic planning development and promotion of sales for all the Groups accommodations. The goal is to further develop each units brand name and increase operational revenues.

More specifically:

  • Monitoring occupancy and daily bookings.
  • Responsible for implementing reservation policies and procedures.
  • Recording Company/Travel Agent rates in the PMS and other records.
  • Identifying top providers and tour operators.
  • Sending offers for individual and group bookings after availability checks and communicating general information pricing and cancellation policies to companies and travel agencies.
  • Communicating with guests/tour operators to organize their bookings and special customer requests.
  • Tracking deposits until departure and managing cancellations if necessary.
  • Daily communication with operations managers about changes in resort availability and booking preparations.
  • Sending MEMOs to operations managers regarding confirmed bookings and special requests.
  • Calculating commissions for travel agencies.
  • Scheduling inspections with travel agents.
  • Maintaining cordial relationships with guests and operators.
  • Updating and monitoring booked services before each arrival.
  • Recommending strategic planning and sales development plans for the Groups accommodations to management.
  • Proposing annual financial goals (sales budget) for the accommodations and submitting them to company management for approval.
  • Developing action plans and marketing activities to achieve financial targets.
  • Recommending annual pricing policies for the Groups accommodations.
  • Promoting accommodations in new markets.
  • Enhancing cooperation with new international travel agents specializing in luxury accommodations.
  • Managing existing relationships with international and Greek travel agents (negotiations contracts etc..
  • Promoting direct sales through the Groups accommodation websites.
  • Organizing concierge services.
  • Supporting the Operations Managers of the accommodations and all involved partners in sales and marketing to ensure highquality service provision.
  • Updating all stakeholders on operating standards rules policies and procedures of the accommodations.
  • Continuously collaborating and participating in all activities for the development and upgrading of the accommodations.
  • Handling and resolving customer issues in cooperation with the head of accommodations.
  • Issuing and monitoring weekly reports with relevant analyses and studies monitoring occupancy and revenues through the database/system.
  • Collaborating with digital agencies to increase the visibility/advertising of the Groups Hotels to achieve direct revenue.


Requirements
  • Bachelors or Higher Degree in Hospitality Tourism or related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in a similar position.
  • Extensive knowledge of the luxury market on both local and international levels with a focus on inbound tourism from America and Europe.
  • Proven experience in designing concierge service offerings.
  • Demonstrated experience in negotiations with travel agents.
  • Strong understanding of marketing strategies and techniques.
  • Proficiency in social media platforms.
  • Good knowledge of Google Ads and similar online advertising tools.
  • Required knowledge of PMS PROTEL and ERP Softone.
