You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailThe Department of Psychiatry and Psychology at Mayo Clinic is seeking a highly talented psychologist to work within the Adult Transitions Program. This interdisciplinary intensive outpatient therapy program is designed to serve patients who need a higherstep level of evidencebased care following discharge from the hospital or Emergency Department as well as those who are experiencing increased symptoms and working to avoid the need for hospital care. The psychologist in this academic position would dedicate the majority of their time partnering with the Psychology Clinical Director in coordinating the clinical activities in the Adult Transitions Program. Expertise in evidencebased treatments for mood and anxiety disorders psychotic disorders borderline personality disorder and traumainformed care are highly preferred among successful applicants. Specific expertise in Interpersonal Social Rhythm Therapy is preferred although not required. Candidates with demonstrated dedication to diversity equity and inclusion knowledge of treatments targeted at underserved populations and ability to appropriately adapt treatments to the cultural and individual needs of patients are highly preferred. Multiple opportunities are also available for collaboration with other programs within the department to help advance coordinated treatment across various levels of care including our psychiatric emergency services.
As an academic institution active engagement in research and education is expected with new resources available for program development and scholarly pursuits. Education/supervision opportunities are abundant with students residents and fellows of a variety of disciplines including psychology postdoctoral fellows. The position carries an academic appointment in the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine rank commensurate with experience.

Candidates must be eligible for licensure in the state of Minnesota and be Boardcertified/Boardeligible through the American Board of Professional Psychology. Requirements for the position include completion of an APA or CPA accredited doctoral program and internship with experience in evidencebased treatments for mood and anxiety disorders psychotic disorders borderline personality disorder and traumainformed care. Experience in other intensive outpatient settings is preferred but not required. Applicants should demonstrate a strong interest in multidisciplinary clinical educational and research collaboration alongside excellent interpersonal communication abilities.
