Primary Purpose
The Construction PreApprenticeship PartTime Instructor provides instruction to students in the Construction PreApprenticeship program directs student discussion and evaluates student performance in the classroom.
Minimum Requirements
A degree or credential appropriate in the field of primary teaching assignment AAS BS or MS depending on the program); or a minimum of 24 quarter hours 16 semester hours) of credit in the field of the primary teaching assignment; or a journey card in related trade. One year demonstrated successful teaching or evidence for the potential for excellence in teaching. Oneyear relevant experience working in an apprenticeship related field. Special Qualifications: PreApprenticeship Program Disclaimer : PreApprenticeship courses are offered in conjunction with Bureau of Labor and Industries BOLI )Approved Registered PreApprenticeship needs and training schedules. PreApprenticeship teaching assignments require training and approval to teach National Center for Construction Education and Research NCCER curriculum.
Preferred Qualifications
High school or college level teaching experience. Apprenticeship/PreApprenticeship experience.
