What we are looking for:
We are seeking a highly motivated Corporate Governance Officer where you will bring your problemsolving organisational and relationshipbuilding skills to a dynamic and collaborative team.
This role will offer you a blend of responsibilities where you will have a keen eye for detail and the ability to interpret and apply policy legislation and procedures.

What your day will look like:
- Prepare agendas minutes and reports; ensure compliance with Councils procedures and act as minute secretary for Council meetings and other corporate meetings as required.
- Oversee insurance activities including notifying insurers managing claims and ensuring timely payments.
- Maintain systems for councillor compliance including the Register of Interests and Related Parties.
- Respond to customer requests from internal and external stakeholders.
- Provide advice to senior staff on report writing and resolution drafting for meetings and compliance matters.

What youll need for success:
- Diploma (AQF level 5 or above) in Business Administration or equivalent and/or equivalent experience in a corporate governance field.
Whats nice to have:
- Extensive experience in governance matters including corporate reporting delegations meeting administration and secretarial duties.
- Demonstrable awareness/experience in policy management and risk management
