Job Description:
MicrochipsDiscrete Products Group (DPG)offers one of the industrys most comprehensive power and RF/microwave discrete semiconductor product portfolios. The DPG encompasses two business units the Power Discrete & Modules Business Unit and the RF/Microwave Discretes Business Unit. The Markets for the PDM & RF/MW Discrete Business Units include; alternative energy industrial medical defense commercial aviation communications embedded systems motor control power solutions sensors and security.
Job Description/summary:
The Inspector III reports to the Senior Manager of Production Control examines/inspects semiconductor devices in a manufacturing environment by following written specifications. The Inspector engages in daily production operations create and update technical documents and exchanges information with other team members and management on product flow and workforce needs. In addition the Inspector will follow acceptance/rejection criteria for semiconductor devices based on an understanding of MILSTD750 Methodand 2074 for internal and external inspection criteria.
