Job Summary

Responsible for completing various processes to produce a highquality finished contact lens.



Responsibilities

Essential Functions & Accountabilities

  • Understand and adhere to specified Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) complying with FDA requirements and ISO standards.
  • Verify setup and calibration of machines and tools daily.
  • Proficiency in use of machines and tools not limited to but including: 10x loupes micrometers and pin gauges.
  • Adhere to strict tolerances verifying each part conforms to associated work order.
  • Document processes accurately in accordance with Good Documentation Practices standards.
  • Maintain constant workflow keeping open communication with fellow Manufacturing Technicians and conducting all job duties in a professional manner.
  • Perform line clearance and 5s activities at the beginning and end of the shift.

Responsible for meeting or exceeding daily production quantity goals maintaining good quality on each lens.



Qualifications

Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

  • Basic computer systems knowledge.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Proficiently work on a small delicate scale.

Work Environment:

  • Job position requires the ability to sit 80 and stand 20 of the time.

Experience:

  • One year of experience in pharmaceutical/medical device manufacturing preferred

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
