Job Description
Research and Formulation Scientist
Ultradent a global name in oral health is seeking a Research and Formulation Scientist to join our team at our headquarters in Salt Lake City. This position requires a drive to innovate and explore new materials and technologies in the dental industry. Experience in developing ideas from concept to prototype is highly recommended. Experience with medical device research cosmetic research and formula development biology/chemistry and/or a related field is preferred.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop improve and customize products and formulas
- Explore innovate and create new chemistries materials and technologies
- Explore or design biological additives for dental materials
- Design and implement experiments
- Collaborate with a dynamic team to generate new products
- Conduct research and remain current on applicable technologies
WHAT YOULL NEED TO SUCCEED:
- B.S. in Chemistry Biology or related scientific field with R&D experienceis ideal
- Experience in biomaterials and/or medical devices is preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and written
- Ability to effectively use computer software including Microsoft Office Suite

- Ability to effectively use laboratory and processing equipment
