We are looking for a skilled and professional Hair Dresser to join our team at The Grand Rehabilitation & Nursing. As an independent contractor you will have the opportunity to set your own prices and provide a wide range of hair services to our residents including haircuts perms coloring and styling. You will play a vital role in enhancing our residents experience by ensuring they look and feel their best in a welcoming and comfortable environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide a variety of hair services to residents including haircuts styling perms coloring and treatments.

Set your own prices for services with flexibility to adjust based on demand and preferences.

Ensure the safety and comfort of all residents while providing services.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of your work area ensuring it meets health and safety standards. Communicate effectively with residents and their families to understand their hair care needs.

Maintain your own professional tools and supplies to deliver topquality service.

Handle all aspects of client payments directly including invoicing and collecting fees for services rendered.

Ensure that you have and maintain your own liability insurance as required for independent contractors.

Qualifications: Licensed Hair Dresser in the state of New York. Must have professional liability insurance (as an independent contractor). Strong communication skills and the ability to work with diverse populations. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on providing a highquality experience for residents. Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule. Prior experience working with seniors is a plus but not required. Reliable punctual and professional.
