TekCom Resources is looking for DAS Technicians (iDAS Construction) for 100 Travel around the New England market.
The DAS Technician is experienced in leading installation crews for the entire duration of largescale distributed antenna systems (DAS) projects. This person is a leader capable of managing training and mentoring a crew of 35 people while on site. This is a handson role that will work closely with the Project Manager and Installation technicians.

The DAS Technician is experienced in leading installation crews for the entire duration of largescale distributed antenna systems (DAS) projects. This person is a leader capable of managing training and mentoring a crew of 35 people while on site. This is a handson role that will work closely with the Project Manager and Installation technicians.
Job Duties:
- Install DAS wireless equipment to include but not limited to the installation of outdoor and indoor antennas coaxial cable CATV cable fiber optic cable CAT 5 cable DC power cable and other appropriate components to NEC standards
- Fusion Splicing and Fiber OTDR testing
- Install terminate and test coaxial cable of various sizes and types
- Installation of DAS headend to include DC power plant alarms CPS and etc.
- Installation of cabinets ladder fiber trough and infrastructure
Background Our Client is Seeking:
- 3 years of DAS installation experience
- 3 years of cable installation experience in IT cable electrical RF and/or telecommunications fields
- High level of understanding and experience performing fusion splicing fiber terminations fiber dressing fiber cleaning and OTDR testing
- Expert at completing Sweep PIM and Fiber testing
- Anritsu Corning and EXFO Certifications a plus
