Job Summary
The Bartender is responsible for greeting guests making and serving beverages upselling and ensuring proper cash handling and credit procedures while exceeding guest expectations by providing friendly prompt and attentive service.

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or 34 years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. High volume fastpaced restaurant/bar experience preferred. Hotel//resort environment experience preferred.
Language Skills
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions short correspondence and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in oneonone and small group situations to customers clients and other employees of the organization.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to add subtract multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers common fractions and decimals. Ability to compute rate ratio and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written oral or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully an individual should have knowledge of:
Micros POS system experience is a plus.
Certificates Licenses Registrations
Food Handlers card is required.
Training for Intervention Procedures (TIPS) Certification is required. .
Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) certification is required.
Other Skills and Abilities
Proficient in English verbal and written.
Additional language(s) is a plus.
Other Qualifications
Must be a minimum of 21 years of age.
Must be able to pass drug and background screening.
Must have flexible work availability all shifts weekdays weekends and holidays.
