SUMMARY:
The primary function of the Campus Dining & Event Services Assistant is to maintain a highlevel dining experience for students staff and external guests. This parttime role offering up to 29.5 hours per week provides the flexibility of an afternoon shift and the option to take summers off making it ideal for those seeking a balanced worklife schedule. The Hospitality Specialist will assist in the operation of campus food services at Clancys (student dining) and support all Cleary University internal and external public events.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Set up the student dining room and event spaces ensuring hospitality and service standards are met or exceeded.
- Ensure all areas are clean organized and maintained to high cleanliness standards throughout shifts.
- Assist with opening and closing duties including storing reusable goods cleaning equipment and organizing spaces.
- Act as a liaison with kitchen staff to maintain proper food service temperatures and replenish food items as needed during events.
- Adhere to health safety and university regulations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma required; two years of experience in food service operations preferred.
- Ability to communicate effectively and follow written and verbal instructions.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word Excel and internet research.
- Physical ability to lift and move up to 35 pounds and work in a moderately noisy environment.
