Job Description
Description
- Responsible for leading testing team members on one or more projects
- Responsible for creating test strategies for software products across one or more projects
- Directing and coordinating engineering activities concerned with development procurement installation and calibration of instruments equipment and control devices required to test record and produce test data
- Determining conditions under which tests are to be conducted as well as sequences and phases of test operations.
- Directing and exercising control over operational functional and performance phases of tests
- Conferring with scientific engineering and technical personnel to resolve testing problemssuch as product or systems malfunctions incomplete test data and data interpretations considering such factors as conditions under which test was conducted and instrumentation procedures and phase of test used to obtain and record data
- Analyzing and interpreting test data and prepares technical reports for use by engineering and management personnel
- Writing implementing and reporting status for system tests

Requirements
- Minimum of Bachelors degree in Software Engineering Computer Engineering Computer Science or Electrical Engineering and at least ten years work related experience OR a Masters degree in Software Engineering Computer Engineering Computer Science or Electrical Engineering and at least 8 years work related experience
- Must have experience working in AGILE Software Testing or AGILE Software Development methodologies
- Must have experience setting up Test Environments and Executing Manual Tests
- Must have experience analyzing test data and producing Risks and Defect Reports
- Must have a strong background in Software and Hardware Integration
- Must have strong written and verbal communication skills
- Must have good interpersonal skills and be capable of conflict resolution in a team environment
- Must have leadership experience
- Must have a strong understanding of the Linux Operating System RedHat experience is desired
- Candidate must possess a Secret clearance or be eligible to obtain one
Desired Skills
- Experience with DevOps including continuous integration (CI) and continuous deployment (CD) pipelines
- Familiarity with Atlassian Suite including Jira Confluence Bitbucket and Bamboo
- Experience establishing automatic test environmentsFamiliarity with modern C 17 or newer) Bash and Python
- Experience with Docker Podman or similar containers
- Experience with test frameworks or experience creating test harnesses
- Experience building and executing AGILE practices including Scrum and Kanban Methodologies
- Experience producting Test Plans and Test Procedures; bonus for experience with software focused Test Plans and Test Procedures
- Familiarity with Gherkin Cucumber or any other test related languages
- Experience system testing for radars or emitters
Clearance Information
SRC IS A CONTRACTOR FOR THE U.S. GOVERNMENT THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE U.S. CITIZENSHIP AS WELL AS A U.S. GOVERNMENT SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE SECRET LEVEL
