The Role:
Digible Inc. is looking for a Senior Accountant to join our team!
Our finance team is a collaborative teamof people that take care of the daytoday accounting and finance operations for the Company.We are in search of a team member to help Digible prepare for the Companys first annual audit be the finance teams point person for all incoming questions assist with monthend close improve processes and drive efficiencies across the company. What youll do:
- Assists with audit readiness for the Companys audit (first year in 2025
- Supports all operational accounting functions including A/R A/P invoicing collections journal entries fixed asset tracking and depreciation. This role will be the internal point person related to these areas for all incoming questions directed to the finance team.
- Manage external/outsourced support for accounting and finance functions such as A/R bookkeeping taxes payroll employee travel and payables.
- Prepares and maintains monthly GL reconciliations and analysis; completes monthly close procedures; compiles and posts detailed journal entries
- Assists in client billing including fully automating the billing process (were nearly there!
- Owns P&L Balance Sheet and Cash Flow cleanliness including department expense mapping expense accrual entries revenue recognition prepaid expenses tax estimates and bonus program accruals.
- Manages payroll planning and reporting. Act as primary backup for payroll processing and troubleshooting
- Supports external audits by providing audit schedules support and responding to inquiries
- Assists in rolling out a process for vendor contract management
- Assists in managing outsourced tax support and ensures tax compliance
- Assists with building and tracking annual company budgets and forecasts
- Has a working knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP). Assists in resetting processes as needed to conform to GAAP standards
- Maintains detailed Excel spreadsheets and supporting schedules
- Conducts detailed financial analysis of data; compiles variance analysis reports
- Maintains flexibility to work on special projects and other duties as needed
How success will be measured:
- Creates efficiencies and enhances the monthend close process and supporting documentation.
- Successful and timely preparation and completion of the 2025 annual audit.
- Becomes the trusted finance team representative for the Company
What you should have:
- 3 years experience in accounting/finance; Big 4/Regional firm experience preferred
- CPA preferred (not required)
- Bachelors degree in accounting or finance (required)
- Digital media or media agency experience a plus
- Ramp Quickbooks Salesforce and/or Datarails experience a plus!
