Job Summary

The Aerospace Corporation is seeking an experienced Executive Assistant to provide strategic administrative support to our Chief Finance Officer (CFO) and Deputy CFO. This is a highimpact opportunity to be involved in a transformative organization that contributes to the goals of theCompany.

As an integral partner to the CFO and focal point for the organization you will provide collaborative administrative support and leadership to ensure effective and efficient departmental operations. You are proactive and take initiative to solve problems independently with autonomy to positively impactthe productivity and efficiency of the CFO organization. You take ownership of processes and procedures and work closely with leadership colleagues and customers across the enterprise to ensure the organization runs smoothly and meets internal and external deliverables.

Work Model

This is a fulltime hybrid position based in El Segundo CA offering four days per week onsite with balance of the week remote or as business conditions allow.

What Youll Be Doing

  • Organize and prioritize critical issues and information for the Chief Financial Officer to facilitate efficient and effective decision making
  • Execute strategic proactive and complex calendaring scheduling meeting management and event planning & coordination
  • Arrange travel coordination logistics and complex expense reporting
  • Manage the coordination of departmental employee support for newhire onboarding needs and any equipment needs within the organization
  • Manage weekly coordination of organizational timesheet administration to Payroll
  • Lead or participate in special projects track and drive deliverables to completion
  • Manage the Finance organizational charts (compile edit publish) and reports as needed by Chief Financial Officer
  • Perform as partner representative and point of contact for Chief Finance Officer with Board of Trustees interaction Corporate Officers all levels of management across the enterprise
  • Draft and prepare correspondence emails letters and presentations on behalf of Chief Finance Officer
  • Develop and improve effective processes across the enterprise that provide superior organizationefficiency and industrylead technical bestpractices
  • Collaborate with administration professionals across the Company
  • Leads by training and mentoring admins demonstrating professionalism team collaboration technical expertise andleadership behavior that is consistent with the Companys values

What You Need to be Successful Executive Assistant to VP or SVP

Minimum Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Five or more years of relevant experience providing administrative support
  • Mastery of administrative skills: project management strategic of tasks organization superior attention to detail writing and proofreading
  • Expertlevel technological fluency across a wide range of tools and platforms including Microsoft Office applications: Outlook Word PowerPoint Excel Teams SharePoint plus meeting tools including Teams and Zoom
  • Mastery of communication and interpersonal skills: leadership collaboration resiliency strategic thinking problemsolving emotionalintelligence judgment business acumen and decision making
  • Ability to manage sensitive and personnelrelated information appropriately
  • Ability to work independently and lead a team to proactively deliver innovative solutions and resolve issues with minimal direction

How You Can Stand Out

It would be impressive if you have one or more of these:

  • Bachelors Degree
  • Experience working within Concur or other travelrelated applications (e.g. Workday JIRA Confluence)
  • Prior Department of Defense (DoD) or Federally Funded Research and Development Center (FFRDC) environment experience

We offer a competitive compensation package where youll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to our business. The gradebased pay range for this job is listed below. Individual salaries within that range are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education experience knowledge and skills.
