Central Iowa Psychological Services (CIPS) is an outpatient multidisciplinary group practice with office locations in Des Moines Ames and Ankeny. We provide general psychotherapy and psychological testing services medication management services interventional psychiatric services such as Spravato and TMS and Substance Abuse/Addiction Services in conjunction with MAT services.

Whats your day to day look like
Diagnose and treat mental health disorders with the utmost compassion integrity and commitment to excellence
Establish a positive and trusting rapport with clients
Create and update individualized treatment plans according to client needs and circumstances
Make recommendations/referrals to specialists as necessary
Maintain thorough notes of client interactions and adhere to strict confidentiality standards
Accept a variety of insurances
Attend team meetings and clinical consultative meetings
Work with a variety of clients including individuals couples families and groups within your skillset and scope of practice
What experience and qualifications are we looking for
Must be a fully licensed mental health therapist in Iowa
LISW LMHC LMFT in Iowa
Interest in providing supervision is preferred but not required. Caseload adjustments or additional compensation is available for interested candidates!
Must maintain knowledge of the latest treatment modalities and EvidencedBased Models
Must take initiative demonstrate sound judgment and demonstrate strong interpersonal and timemanagement skills
Excellent verbal and written communication organization & time management skills
