The Checkout/Cleaner role prepares the trucks for customer pick up by inspecting touching up cleaning and detailing.
YOUR IMPACT
Wash and detail trucks prior to customer pickup
Paint tires.
Strip coating off of the fourway inside cab.
Remove stains and buff scratches from fourway.
Tape and paint inside edge of door surface.
Inspect wrinkle finished areas.
Touch up wrinkle finished areas.
Scrub down entire interior of vehicle.
Clean and wipe down inside compartment.
Touch up any damaged areas.
Ability to drive fire apparatus
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Valid Drivers License with no endorsements
OTHER QUALIFICATIONS
Ability to lift up to 35 pounds
Ability to wear required PPE
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Working conditions will be inside and outside where temperatures will vary from extreme heat to extreme cold for extended periods of time. This position is regularly exposed to vibration and loud noises.
