This is a parttime independent Archives Assistant role where youll have the opportunity to work autonomously. In this position you are more than just a studentyoull play a key role in preserving and organizing valuable archival materials.

Location: Frankfort KY (this is not a remote opportunity)
Hours: 15 hours/ week
Starting date: Now (this is not summer only)
Assist Archives staff in cataloging artifacts and documents using the PastPerfect5 system.
Collaborate with various departments to inventory objects throughout the distillery ensuring accurate documentation.
Support the planning and of exhibitions bringing historical narratives to life for visitors and team members.
Conduct historical research helping to deepen the understanding of Sazeracs legacy and its impact over time.
Provide support to the Archives Assistant and Archivist in daytoday operations and special projects.
Conduct work in a professional and timely way.
Contribute to projects that promote brand and Homeplace development reinforcing the connection between history and brand identity.
The Archives Internship is designed to be a valuable educational experience for undergraduate and graduate students. Interns will have the opportunity to:

Develop expertise in archival systems research methodologies and exhibition curation.
Gain realworld exposure to working in a corporate archives setting while building transferable skills for careers in history museum studies library sciences or related fields.
