About the role: We are seeking Project Manager with Data & Analytics experience to join our team. Youll be working in the newly established Digital & Technology department for a leading supermarket chain with a strong presence in the retail industry offering a wide range of highquality products to customers. With a focus on innovation and customer satisfaction the company is committed to delivering fresh and diverse selections ensuring a seamless shopping experience. Operating a large network of stores it continuously invests in technology sustainability and employee development to maintain its position as a trusted retailer in the market.
Location: Bucharest
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage datarelated projects such as Data Warehouse Data Lake and Analytics initiatives ensuring timely and successful delivery
- Define project scope goals and timelines working closely with stakeholders to align business needs with technical solutions
- Coordinate crossfunctional teams and facilitate collaboration between business and technical teams
- Monitor project progress identify risks and issues and implement solutions to keep projects on track
- Ensure efficient project workflows by simplifying and optimizing processes in complex environments
- Oversee the full development cycle of data and analytics solutions from planning to deployment
- Utilize project management tools such as MS Project Jira and Confluence to track progress and documentation
- Facilitate communication and reporting ensuring stakeholders are informed about project status and key milestones
- Apply best practices in data analytics methodologies and leverage knowledge of Azure data technologies when applicable
- Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance project efficiency and datadriven decisionmaking
What we are looking for:
- 35 years of experience in Project Management or Product Owner roles delivering Data Warehouse Data Lake and Data & Analytics projects
- Strong knowledge of project management processes workflows risk management and issue resolution
- Good understanding of data analytics tools and methodologies; familiarity with Azure data technologies is a plus
- Experience in software development cycles including specifications and design with the ability to align business needs with technical solutions
- Ability to manage projects in complex environments simplifying and optimizing workflows
- Excellent leadership communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with teams and stakeholders
- Proficiency in project management tools such as MS Project Jira Confluence Excel PowerPoint and Word
- Bachelors or Masters degree in a relevant field
Nice to have:
- Agile Scrum of Scrums Master experience
- Experience managing programs that combine Agile with Waterfall delivery
