The Role

An opportunity for an experienced Senior Oracle Managed Services Presales Consultant has arisento join our DXC Practice for theOracle family in ANZ.

We seek an experienced professional to drive growth for our organisations Oracle Managed Services business. As the Oracle Managed Services Consultant you will be responsible for owning and managing solution design pricing own bid response and assist Account Directors in thesales process.

This is a key growthfocused and handson role reporting to the Head of Managed Services Presales team. Youll have to manage a diverse range of opportunities and be an experienced and efficient solutioning and presales consultant. You will have excellent people skills business acumen and an exemplary work ethic.

This position aims to drive growth of the Oracle managed services business maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders and drive sustainable growth at target profit margins.

This pivotal role provides an excellent opportunity to join a progressive growthoriented practice within a leading organisation with substantial career opportunities.

Responsibilities:

  • Presales: Working with the ANZ sales team to identify and qualify opportunities and attending customer/prospect meetings providing inputs into proposals for the practice and presenting and/or demonstrating our solution as part of bid presentations.
  • Practice Strategy and Growth: Developing and executing the GoToMarket (GTM) strategy in collaboration with the Account Directors Practice Managers and the GM of the Managed Services business to drive practice growth.
  • Solution Design: Working within a team of Solution Experts own the strategic solutions and ensure that these solutions are well understood within the Oracle practice
  • Delivery excellence: Ensure a consistent and repeatable methodology for the presales processes and provide QA services to key RFPs.

Requirements and skills

  • Solutioning / Presales experience
  • Standout stakeholder management experience and a relationship builder by nature to ensure real collaboration with clients.
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen and good understanding of sales concepts
  • Strong managed services background with knowledge of ITIL and ITSM functions
  • Strong familiarity and experience with Transition approach and methodology
  • Strong experience in bid response writing pricing and renewal process
  • Analytical and strategic thinking ability to solve complex managed services challenges and propose solutions.
  • Attention to detail with full accountability for outcomes that deliver customersatisfying results
  • Ability to work independently in a highvelocity and dynamic team environment.
  • Exceptional communication skills including written verbal & presentation.
  • Strong experience in bid response writing pricing and renewal process
  • Solid understanding of Oracle solutions and products (Onpremises technology/ Applications SaaS. IaaS and PaaS)
