The Estates Department is looking to recruit to an Estates Property Manager to join a small team who are responsible for thepropertymanagementoftheUniversitysextensive portfolio of land and property providing advice and guidance on all estate management issues including; management of the expanding Let property portfolio lease negotiations acquisitions and disposals title issues and collaborations valuation and Rating issues.
The Opportunity:
This post has responsibility for delivering a strategic estate management service for the Universitys extensive portfolio of land and property. The property management team are responsive to the dynamic institutional space requirements in terms of size use cost and location. Respond to property related requests from across the University to ensure that property requirements are clearly understood and acceptable solutions are delivered within budgetary locational and spatial constraints. This requires detailed knowledge of the property market including rental and investment trends and an overview on availability of suitable accommodation at any given time. Ensuring thatthatrentalincomeismaximised and lease obligations enforced.
