Job Description
Wage $25.00 per hour
Hybrid Schedule Full Time 8hour shifts Tuesday and Wednesday off: Thursday Saturday 3:30 pm 12:00 am and Sunday Monday 11:30 pm 8:00 am.

Whatyou will be doing:Youll perform security officer duties and provide supervision to staff to protect life and property against theft misappropriation fire flood or similar disasters and act as liaison with security and law enforcement agencies in compliance with federal state and local regulation government and management directives.
Essential duties:
- Ensure the physical security of buildings center vehicles and property by checking doors windows lights electrical appliances equipment locks and emergency equipment.
- Assure accountability of students staff and visitor checkout and checkin proceeding by scheduling guard station coverage.
- Advise and train security officers in security procedures.
- Assist in transporting students and reporting and suppressing fires.
- Act as liaison with neighboring law enforcement and fire agencies.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- Associates degree and two 2 years experience related one 1 of which should be in a security capacity. Directly related experience maybe considered in lieu of formal education requirements on a year by year basis.
- Experience with youth excellent written and verbal communication skills and computer proficiency required.
- Ability to occasionally lift and carry student luggage weighing up to 70 lbs. and frequently climb stairs and walk outdoors on uneven terrain.
- A valid driver license with an acceptable driving record.
