Job Description:
This is a Transportation Worker position on the Pug Mill crew during the summer season. During the Pug Mill season this position requires extensive regionwide travel and potential of stayaways. While serving on the Pug Mill Crew the TW in this position is responsible for ensuring equipment is fueled and inspected daily maintaining cleanliness of work area raking and shoveling millings away from equipment assisting with equipment maintenance and helps to clean the Pug Mill at the end of every day. This position will move equipment setup equipment haul water as needed operate a skid steer and loader as well as other equipment necessary to ensure continual operation of the Pug Mill during ongoing production. Preference will be given to candidates with CDL A Skid Steer certification and fourwheel loader certification. Successful candidates will return to their normal Region and camp at the end of season (supplied dates are approximate).
To be minimally qualified for this position candidates must meet the following experience criteria:
- A current TW with MaineDOT
Licensing/Registration/Certification Requirements:
- Class B State of Maine drivers license
- Tanker Endorsement
