Entrepreneurship Scholarship Coordinator
A. Assist in Recruiting Prospective Students
Collaborate with the Admissions team to promote the entrepreneurship program and scholarships to prospective students.
Lead sessions and meetings focused on entrepreneurship during oncampus events for prospective students.
Serve as the primary Griggs Center contact for followup visits and questions from prospective students and families about the entrepreneurship program and scholarships.
B. Oversee Scholarship Administration for Entrepreneurship Students
Manage the application process for all Griggs Center scholarships including eligibility review selection and notifying recipients
Facilitate the awarding and disbursement of scholarships in compliance with university policies and program guidelines
Coordinate with Griggs Center team members to track scholarship recipients engagement and progress toward meeting scholarship criteria
Maintain detailed records of applications awards and scholarship fund utilization

B. Training Modules Required
1. Online budgeting and student information system (Banner)
2. Computer software training as updates demand.
Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in education business or a related field
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple processes and deadlines
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a talent for engaging with students and families
B. Personal
Strong interpersonal communication skills
Ability to work and interact well with students and parents
Selfmotivated resourceful and creative
Able to stand for extended periods of time
Able to sit at a computer for extended periods of time
Able to sit in meetings for extended periods of time
Be available to work evenings and/or weekends on occasion in addition to regular office hours.
