Notetakers are assigned to classes not regular to their schedule to take notes for their peers who require this accommodation.
Responsibilities
Must attend and take notes in lectures as allocated by Disability Services; the classes you take notes for are not going to be classes that you are enrolled in. Ensure notes are clear and identify the key points and information relevant to the student. Upload notes within 24 hours of each lecture to ensure the student with accommodations can have access. Commit to provide notes for the whole semester and inform Disability Services in a timely fashion if you are unable to attend due to illness etc.
Required Qualifications
Must be able to take notes in lectures (handwritten or typed) as allocated by Disability Services; the classes you take notes for are not going to be classes that you are enrolled in. Must be in good academic standing.
