Job Description
Sit n Stay is currently hiring exceptionalPet Sitters and Dog Walkers to join our wonderfulteam. Sit n Stay is an established and wellloved company in the Western NY area.
Pet SittersResponsibilities:
- Workweekdays weekends and holidays as stays vary based on client needs
- Enterthe homes of clients and visit with their pets for varying lengths of time (usually 30minutes each)
- Walk pets as required
- Feedpets
- Check that pets have ample water supply and refill as necessary
- Make sure no damage caused by pets in the absence of their owners
- Confirm that if any pottyaccidents haveoccurredin the homes of our clients to clean up.
- Communicate with clients and with management during visits.
- Appropriate pet cleanup as required (i.e. kitty litter scooping when sitting for a cat)
Pet SittersRequirements and Qualifications:
- Must have your own reliable mode of transportation to perform the duties and responsibilities associated with this role
- Must be willing and able to drive to several clients homes for several visits per day
- Must be extremely detail oriented and able to follow detailed instructions
- Must be responsible reliable and dependable
- Must be timely and punctual
- Must beable toselfmanage
- Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must be compassionate about animals
- Must feel comfortable working withand interacting with both small and large animals
- Must be able to passcriminalbackground check
- Must have flexibility in your schedule to take care of pets for morning afternoon and evening visits daily (dogs need to potty weekends and holidays too!
- Must have a positive attitude!
