In this role you will perform and supervise various accounting tasks to ensure accurate and timely recognition of and reconciliation of intercompany activities.
Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for managing relatedparty accounting and balance reconciliation activities
- Responsible for quantifying classification and summarizing activity on relatedparty invoices
- Manages regular settlement of intercompany balances
- Initiate payments and/or other settlement options for intercompany activities. Works closely with treasury and banking teams to ensure cash payments are made to settle intercompany balances if necessary
- Understand services provided between relatedparty entities and appropriately run time sheet and reimbursable expense reports to summarize activity in relatedparty invoices
- Coordinate adjusting journal entries to correct intercompany balances as needed
- Reconcile legal entity general ledger balances to local entity statutory financials on a monthly quarterly or annual basis as needed
- Responsible for the financial stewardship over several foreign subsidiary entities
- Understand reconcile and journalize any US GAAP to statutory recognition differences in the general ledger
- Understand transfer pricing concepts and apply results of transfer pricing methodologies to relatedparty invoices
- Work closely with tax and international accounting operations to determine appropriate invoice format and related taxability of relatedparty transactions and invoices
- Provide support with recording withholding taxes and VAT on relatedparty invoices
- Reconciles relatedparty internal invoicing costs to external project costs
- Work with accounting teams and project control teams to reconcile relatedparty costs on projects
- Develop process improvement ideas and measures to improve efficiency with intercompany activities
- Develop account mapping and reconciliation process between local company financial systems and the general ledgerSetup mapping of local company financial system accounts to consolidated general ledger when entities in new countries

Education/Experience:
- Completion of bachelors degree in accounting plus four to seven years of accounting experience.
- Previous experience with intercompany accounting required
Specific Knowledge Skills License Certifications:
- CPA license preferred
- Knowledge of finance accounting budgeting and accost control principles including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
- Previous experience with intercompany and relatedparty entity transactions and balances
- Knowledge of financial and accounting software applications
- Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports statements and projections
- Specific knowledge and experience with intercompany/relatedparty accounting activities

Environmental Factors and/or Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this job this position is required to have ordinary ambulatory skills sufficient to visit other locations; and the ability to stand walk stoop kneel crouch and manipulate (lift carry move) light to medium weights of 1050 pounds. Requires good handeye coordination and arm hand and finger dexterity including the ability to grasp and visual acuity to use a keyboard operate equipment and read application/form information. The associate frequently is required to sit reach with hands and arms talk and hear.
