The Boeing CompanyThe Boeing Global Services organization has a unique and exciting opportunity for an Experienced / Senior Supply Chain Specialist (Level 3/4 to join the Commercial Mods Supply Chain team located in Long Beach CA.
We are looking for a detailoriented problemsolver who can work in a fast paced environment. Be a part of meaningful change as we examine and evolve our supply chain processes and lead strategic supply chain integration projects with our Mods program and engineering leadership team. The ideal candidate will have a unique blend of technical knowledge project management skills understanding of data analytics and executive level briefing experience.
The selected candidate will be required to work 100 onsite at above mentioned location.
This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements a U.S. Person as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.15 is required. U.S. Person includes U.S. Citizen lawful permanent resident refugee or asylee.
Position Responsibilities:
Duties will include (but are not limited to)
Develops executive level briefings
Partners with organization leaders to support the development and implementation of longrange strategies organizational goals objectives and initiatives
Defines designs plans deploys and manage internal/external projects
Leads the development and maintenance of the project schedule and monitors and tracks of the plan and communicates status
Reviews and evaluates strategic organizational issues and identifies implementation recommendations
Analyzes and summarizes data used in the development and proposal of organizational direction
Develops processes and tools to measure key performance indicators
Extracts analyzes and prepares reports to measure key supplier and internal performancetoplan.
Develops risk mitigation plan
Identifies and implements improvements to streamline and automate process flows.
Distributes updates and tracks procurement plan for supply chain integration and procurement analysis
Assesses and reports compliance to internal/external stakeholders
Possess general understanding ability and knowledge to act independently when working routine problems or situations; Possess general knowledge of company and local policies procedures and regulations.
Leads the design logistics and facilitation of large meetings/events
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
6 years of experience in Procurement and Supply Chain processes
6 years of experience in a role that required project management skills
6 years of experience working in crossfunctional teams
6 years of experience working with Excel and PowerPoint
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
10 years of experience in Procurement and Supply Chain processes
10 years of experience in a role that required project management skills
10 years of experience working in crossfunctional teams
10 years of experience working with Excel and PowerPoint
Experience writing SQL or developing queries
Experience in presenting to audience
Experience in proposing negotiating and executing contracts and/or subcontracts is desired
Bachelors degree or higher
Typical Education & Experience (Experienced):
Typically 6 or more years related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor Master etc. preferred but not required.
Typical Education & Experience (Senior):
Typically 10 or more years related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor Master etc. preferred but not required.
Travel:
This position requires traveling up to 10 of the time.
