Our plant in Hemmant is looking for an experienced Maintenance Fitter who will form part of our reliability team supporting production of a busy plant.
Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor your key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Be proactive in completing preventative maintenance.
- Be reactive to breakdowns minimising downtime.
- Carry out routine checks and planned maintenance to maintain productivity of machines.
- Assist in fault finding troubleshooting and repairs of machinery.
- Maintain stock levels of spare parts to assist in making components for repairs.
- Update and maintain data records on work carried out via CMMS (MEX).
- Uphold and adhere to company policies and procedures in Environmental Health and Safety.
What you will bring to the team:
- Mechanical Trade Certificate
- Minimum 3 years industry/manufacturing/FMCG experience
- Own toolbox
- Own vehicle and drivers license
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Great work ethic with the ability to work autonomously or part of a team.
