Job Description
Garden Gate Healthcare Facility is seeking a motivated Dietary Supervisor to lead our dietary team and ensure residents receive highquality nutritious meals in a safe and welcoming environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the dietary department ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Supervise dietary staff providing training scheduling and support.
- Ensure resident dietary needs and preferences are met including special diets.
- Monitor food preparation serving and storage for quality and safety.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve services and enhance resident satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate records inventory and ordering supplies as needed.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in food service management preferably in a healthcare or longterm care setting but not required.
- Strong leadership organizational and communication skills.
- Knowledge of dietary regulations and safe food handling practices.
- Certification in food safety (preferred).
- Compassionate and teamoriented mindset.
