Multimedia Designer
Summary
The Southwest Strategies Group is seeking a fulltime Multimedia Designer to join our team. The Multimedia Designer provides indepth support to SWS Group clients by designing creating and managing compelling content across various platforms to inform and engage the public. We are seeking an individual who is ready to contribute to the evolution of web and visual design strategies with creative ideas and approaches.

Position and Location:
Roles hired in San Diego operate on a hybrid schedule with 23 days onsite in the San Diego Headquarters. Roles outside of San Diego are primarily remote with varying expectations of visits to satellite offices and clients. This role will include early mornings evenings and weekends as required.
Salary Range: $68000$78000 (dependent on experience). This is an exempt (salary) position.
Essential Functions/Responsibilities:
- Contributes to evolution of web design strategy ensuring visually compelling and userfriendly digital experiences
- Stays up to date on emerging web trends UX/UI best practices and technologies to enhance design quality and innovation
- Ensures ADAcompliant web design optimizing accessibility usability and performance for all digital experiences
- Assists account staff and clients on the development of creative briefs
- Maintains brand guidelines and style to ensure consistency and compliance
- Meets provided deadlines and budgets
- Additional duties as assigned
Creative Responsibilities:
- Designs and develops website mockups wireframes and final web layouts Maintains updates and manages website content to align with branding accessibility standards and performance optimization Designs layouts graphics animations 3D art and videos for new media
- Produces visually appealing motion graphics and animations to enhance video and digital content using software like Adobe After Effects
- Working with Account Staff assist with video production process from preproduction planning to postproduction editing and final delivery
- Collaborates with Account Staff and Marketing Team to develop and optimize videos for various platforms such as social media websites and presentations
- Additional duties as assigned
Tools and Proficiencies:
- Proficient in managing web design workflows using Adobe Creative Suite Figma and Webflow to create responsive userfriendly websites Has intermediatelevel proficiency with HTML CSS and/or JS languages
- Is knowledgeable of ADA California Consumer Privacy Act and GDPR compliance and regulations for digital content

- Bachelors degree in web design graphic design multimedia design or a closely related field preferred
- 3 years previous professional experience in one or more of the areas listed: web design multimedia graphics and video production
- Experience with social media digital advertising and multimedia graphic design required
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite Figma and Webflow
- Experience with shooting video preferred
