About the Position
We are looking for a new colleague who would like to join us as a fulltime intern for six months and who will support us with content development/curation and research for our global Smart Cities platform and delivery projects.
What you will be doing
As a Content Development & Research Intern for BABLE activities will include:

BABLE Smart Cities Platform
- Conducting desk research for curating insightful new content including City and Project pages as well as marketdriven facts and knowledge.
- Supporting the updating and expansion of the Use Case (best practice) and Solutions databases on the platform.
- Having a key role in the quality management process for new content added to the platform.
Additional Activities
- Supporting BABLEs advisory services and projects through content and researchfocused activities e.g. developing and researching content for reports white papers market studies blog posts resource catalogues and infographics.
- Updating materials related to content creation both for internal and external purposes.
- Assisting with community management to guide and support new and current users in their experiences on the platform.

- Ability to deliver highquality results in independent work.

- Ability to work well with colleagues remotely in different offices.
- Motivation and drive to make a change and take initiative.
Your profile
- Several years of study or practical experience in a relevant field with very good results.
- Experience in smart/sustainable cities/urban planningwould be appreciated.
- English is mandatory. Other European languages are an added value.
- Extraordinaryresearch skills.
- Basicunderstandingof technology and innovativesolutions.
- Mandatory internship as part of your curricular studies.

About us
BABLE was founded in 2017 as aspinoff from the Fraunhofer Research Society with the goal to create a digital knowledge exchange around smart city topics. This newly created platform was to enable city governments to find the right technologies that can improve the quality of life for their citizens.
The impact of this platform and the following projects BABLE undertook in the years since its foundation increasingly helped tobuild a missing bridge between the public and private sector. In the last years the expansion from having just a knowledge platform to additionally having a fully distributed team of over 50 experts has enabled BABLE to build a proven track record with impactful projects with key players in the smart city field
