Position Overview:

In general TRI Austin maintains between 20 40 individual contracts at any time with a wide range of complexity. A successful Contracts Administrator will be the primary point of contact for all contractrelated matters overseeing the full contract lifecycle including negotiation administration compliance with legal and regulatory requirements cost proposal preparation and alignment with customer specifications. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in fostering positive and constructive relationships with both internal and external stakeholders ensuring clear effective communication and meeting the contractual needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the negotiation and administration of contracts ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations and customer requirements.
  • Prepare cost proposals and respond to customer specifications while ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Develop and maintain strong positive relationships with both internal teams and external customers including government contracting officers.
  • Provide timely and effective communication to all stakeholders regarding contract status performance and any potential issues.
  • Maintain expertise in and ensure adherence to all applicable government regulations and contract requirements including FAR DFARS SAM CPARS and WAWF.
  • Act as the primary liaison between the company and government contracting officers (PCOs) administrative contracting officers (ACOs) prime contractors and subcontractors.
  • Review and interpret contractual terms and conditions to ensure compliance and mitigate potential risks.
  • Provide guidance on export regulations including ITAR and EAR to ensure compliance with international trade laws.
  • Utilize contract management software (e.g. Technomile Deltek Cobblestone) to track monitor and report on contract performance.
  • This is NOT a remote position

This position requires candidate obtaining and holding U.S. Government Security Clearance.

Requirements
  • Bachelors degree in Business or Accounting with relevant work experience in contract management.
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in contract administration with a strong background in Department of Defense (DoD) government and commercial contracts.
  • Expert knowledge of federal acquisition regulations (FAR) DFARS SAM CPARS WAWF and government auditing practices.
  • Strong understanding of various contract types including most commonly firmfixedprice costreimbursement and timeandmaterials contracts.
  • Familiarity with export control regulations including but not limited to ITAR and EAR.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and contract management software (e.g. Technomile Deltek Cobblestone).
  • Strong analytical communication and negotiation skills with the ability to present information clearly and effectively to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to handle complex contractual issues manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fastpaced environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and work collaboratively with diverse teams both internally and externally.
