Responsibilities & Requirements
The General XRay Machine Operator performs a limited scope of diagnostic XRay procedures to include Chest/Abdomen Extremity SkullSinuses Spine only. Duties both professional and nonclinical performed consistent with optimal image quality. Performs other duties as assigned.
*Performs a variety of diagnostic XRay procedures with optimal image quality
*Provides patient care ensures an environment of patient safety promotes evidencebased practice and
quality initiatives and exhibits professionalism within established Radiology and Imaging National
standards. 100
*Responsible for entering online charges in the RIS system and accountable for charges as specified by
the Network policy ensuring a high level of accuracy
*Exhibits each of the Kettering Health Standards of behavior holding self and others accountable and role
modeling excellence for all to see.
*Meets population specific and all other competencies according to department requirements.
*Promotes a culture of safety by adhering to policy procedures and plans that are in place to prevent
workplace injury violence or adverse outcome to associates and patients.
Relationship based care creates a caring and healing environment that keeps the patient and family at
the center of care throughout their experience.
*Participates in OnCall Coverage if applicable If applicable
*Attends departmental meetings and Network Town halls
Preferred Qualifications
Must have GXMO Certification and Radiation license by State of Ohio.
Perferably a Student in Radiology Program currently
Hospital GXMO Main Cmapus
Will perform inpatient outpatient and ER XRays on Fixed Equipment.
