About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Siebel Database Administrator to join our clients team. In this role you will be responsible for:
- Managing maintaining and optimizing the Siebel CRM database using MS SQL
- Designing implementing and maintaining the database
- Ensuring data integrity security and availability
- Monitoring database performance and optimizing as needed
- Developing and implementing backup and recovery strategies
- Collaborating with development teams to understand system requirements and design database solutions
- Troubleshooting database issues and providing solutions
- Staying uptodate with industry trends and best practices in database administration
The Successful Candidate
The ideal candidate will have:
- A bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field
- Strong knowledge of Siebel CRM and MS SQL Database
- Experience with database design implementation and maintenance
- Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL
- Understanding of database performance tuning and optimization techniques
- Knowledge of backup and recovery strategies
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Experience with Siebel CRM upgrades and migrations (desired)
- Familiarity with database clustering and high availability solutions (desired)
- Knowledge of database security best practices (desired)
- Experience with database monitoring and alerting tools (desired)
- A passion for data analysis diligence and a hardworking attitude
