Position Overview:
The Electrical Project Manager willoversee the planning and delivery of utility power and distributionprojects. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring projectsare completed on time within budget and to the highest standards of qualityand safety.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning: Develop detailedproject plans including scope schedule resources and budget. Define projectobjectives deliverables and milestones.
: Lead and manage projectteams including engineers contractors and subcontractors. Ensure effectivecoordination and communication among all stakeholders.
Quality Control: Monitor projectprogress and performance ensuring compliance with technical specificationssafety standards and regulatory requirements. Implement quality assurance andquality control processes.
Risk Management: Identify potentialrisks and develop mitigation strategies. Address issues and challenges promptlyto minimize impact on project timelines and budget.
Budget Management: Oversee projectfinances including cost estimation budget tracking and financial reporting.Ensure efficient allocation and utilization of resources.
Stakeholder Engagement: Maintainstrong relationships with clients suppliers and regulatory authorities.Provide regular updates and reports to stakeholders ensuring transparency andalignment.
Documentation: Prepare and maintaincomprehensive project documentation including contracts reports and records.Ensure all project documentation is accurate complete and up to date.
Safety: Promote a culture of safetyand ensure all project activities comply with health and safety regulations.Conduct safety audits and inspections as required.
Continuous Improvement: Identifyopportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhanceproject delivery and performance.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelors degree inElectrical Engineering Project Management or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience inproject management within the utilities power and distribution sector.
Experience with largescale utilitypower and distribution projects.
