Job Description

We are seeking a detailoriented and analytical Business Analyst to join our Accounting Operations team. This role is pivotal in analyzing and optimizing our accounting processes ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and driving strategic improvements.

Your focus

  • Conduct a comprehensive analysis of current business processes and workflows within the accounting operations department and document findings meticulously.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to design and document processes ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to gauge accounting process efficacy and identify performance trends.
  • Work crossfunctionally with diverse departments to gather data scrutinize processes and suggest strategies for refining accounting operations.
  • Regularly reassess and update process documentation Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and contribute to the formulation of educational resources.
  • Conduct gap analysis within accounting processes and recommend appropriate solutions
  • Support projects aimed at the effective integration of new accounting systems tools or technologies ensuring seamless transitions that optimize existing processes.

Who you are

  • Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting Business Administration or relevant field.
  • 2 years of accounting experience.
  • Excellent analytical and problemsolving abilities coupled with careful attention to detail.
  • Superior communication and interpersonal skills with proficiency in liaising with crossfunctional teams.
  • Keen attention to detail exceptional organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Proficient with accounting software and tools along with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and data analysis. Microsoft Visio experience is a nice to have.
