Responsibilities:
- Clinical Leadership:Provide strategic direction and oversight to the clinical team ensuring the delivery of highquality evidencebased care to patients in accordance with regulatory standards and best practices.
- Staff Management:Recruit onboard and supervise clinical staff including registered nurses licensed practical nurses and home health aides fostering a culture of excellence collaboration and continuous learning.
- Performance Optimization:Develop and implement performance improvement initiatives to enhance clinical efficiency productivity and outcomes while minimizing risks and ensuring patient safety.
- Quality Assurance:Establish and maintain quality assurance programs to monitor and evaluate clinical performance outcomes and compliance with regulatory requirements accreditation standards and organizational policies.
- Care Coordination:Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physicians therapists social workers and case managers to coordinate care plans facilitate transitions of care and optimize patient outcomes across the continuum.
- Patient Advocacy:Serve as an advocate for patients and their families addressing their needs concerns and preferences and promoting a patientcentered approach to care delivery.
- Documentation and Reporting:Oversee the timely and accurate documentation of patient assessments care plans progress notes and clinical outcomes ensuring compliance with documentation standards and confidentiality requirements.
- Budget Management:Assist in the development and management of the clinical department budget monitoring expenses optimizing resource allocation and identifying opportunities for cost containment and revenue enhancement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Nursing or related field required; Masters degree preferred.
- Current District of Columbiastate licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
- Minimum of 7 years of clinical experience in home healthcare or a related setting with at least 2 years in a clinical manager
- Demonstrated expertise in clinical operations staff management and quality improvement initiatives.
- Strong knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid regulations home health accreditation standards and industry best practices.
- Excellent communication interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
- Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems and other relevant software applications.
- Commitment to upholding ethical standards integrity and professionalism in all aspects of work.
