Job Description
Expression is looking for a software developer with experience in PHP and WordPress to join our team in the Washington DC area. This person will be responsible for working independently and within a team while being involved in all phases of the development lifecycle for custom client/server webbased applications including WordPresss Gutenberg editor enablement a pagebuilder style editor allowing the editor greater flexibility with content while keeping the user experience on brand.
Your responsibilities include:
- Deliver feature enhancements to the full stack
- Work with developers on tickets in progress
- Issue bug remediation and coordinate fixes with QA testing
- Keep up with monthly development environment builds in Jenkins
- Navigate AWS Cloudwatch logs and related data for troubleshooting and by request
Required Qualifications:
- Public Trust required
- 2 years of experience in PHP and WordPress
- Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes
- Familiarity with Jenkins AWS Cloudwatch and React
- Ability to work in a collaborative fastpaced team environment
- Ability to communicate effectively with your team in a remote setting
