Our opportunity:
We seek a visionary COE Automation Director for our Professional Services team to lead and drive automation and AI initiatives across our key clients. This executive role requires a seasoned leader with a proven track record in managing an Automation Center of Excellence (COE) and delivering transformative AI projects. As a key decisionmaker you will oversee automation strategies ensure seamless coordination between teams and drive while maintaining accountability for project timelines budgets and strategic outcomes.

You will make an impact by being responsible for:
Leading the planning and implementation of projects ensuring all team members are aligned with project goals and deliverables.
Facilitating the definition of Automation programs and projects scope goals and deliverables.
Tracking project milestones and deliverables ensuring timely completion of tasks.
Ensuring deliverables are met within budget whilst achieving quality expectations
Using appropriate tools to monitor and report on the status of projects to all stakeholders.
Identifying potential project risks and issues and developing mitigation strategies to address them.
Proactively managing changes in project scope schedule and costs.
Serving as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders ensuring clear and consistent communication.
Preparing and delivering project reports proposals and presentations as needed.
Maintaining comprehensive project documentation including project plans schedules budgets and progress reports.
Ensuring all project documentation is stored in an accessible and organized manner.
You will be a great fit if you have:
Bachelors degree in business administration Engineering Information Technology or a related discipline is preferred
15 years of work experience including leadership project management and a proven track record in managing recent AI and automation projects
Experience managing an Automation Center of Excellence (COE) is highly preferred.
Experience in working in a Professional Services environment.
Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar certification
Scrum Mater Certification and Scaled Agile certification SAFe or similar certification
Strong understanding of AI and automation technologies and their application in business processes
You excel in these key competencies:
Ability to effectively lead project planning and implementation ensuring all team members are aligned with project goals deliverables and timelines
Strong skills in identifying assessing and managing project risks and issues developing effective mitigation strategies to address them
Excellent communication skills to serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders clearly conveying complex information and ensuring consistent and transparent communication throughout the project lifecycle.
Demonstrated experience in managing AI and automation projects with a deep understanding of the technologies and their application within business processes
Proficiency in maintaining comprehensive project documentation including plans schedules and progress reports ensuring all project information is uptodate and organized
Thesalary rangeor on target earnings (base salary on target incentives)for this position in California New York and Washington is$285000 to $300000 a yearand outside of those locations is$275000 to $290000 a year. Thesalaryultimately offered is determined through a review of education industry experience training knowledge skills and abilities of the applicant in alignment with market data and other factors. This position is also eligible forequity and a full range of medical and other benefits.
