DescriptionClean Harbors in Mount Vernon IN is seeking an InSite Program Manager to oversee the management of waste generated at customer sites support Program Managers assist with general needs to Branch and InSite Group and fill in for employees on vacation/leave. This position will report to the Midwest District Manager but will work closely with the affected Branches.
Filling in at facilities in the region while assisting with other wasterelated needs that may arise. This role will require 35 travel.

Responsibilities- Ensure Health and Safety is the number one goal by following policies processes and always acting in a safe manner
- Responsible for all Clean Harbors activities and programs on customers site.
- Manage and coordinate the efforts of the all Clean Harbors onsite employees.
- Enlist Clean Harbors corporate resources as needed to ensure 100 customer satisfaction.
- Assist with managing customers air water and hazardous waste programs.
- Manage and track facility wide cradle to grave waste generation storage and disposal.
- Responsible for proper packaging of waste to maximize efficiency and maintain compliance.
- Schedule transportation and disposal for outgoing wastes as needed.
- Provide waste tracking reports as needed.
- Maintain adequate levels of equipment for emergency responses and ongoing projects.
- Scope special projects and provide estimates.
- Assist customers with compiling data necessary for completing the Generators Annual Report and other required reporting functions.
- Conduct facility wide compliance audits to include inspections of staging accumulating and storage areas to ensure proper housekeeping procedures and compliance.
- Provide weekly status reports to facility management.
- Utilize CHOICE waste management software to efficiently and accurately manage waste program.
- Resolve job related issues such as billing collections customer issues and postjob followup
- Meet with customers too proactively resolve customer issues or complaints
- Maintain satisfactory customer relationship
- Responsible for maintaining customer and CHES spreadsheets
- Follow all local state (provincial) and federal compliance regulations and rules
- Safely operate vehicles in accordance with U.S. DOT local state (provincial) and federal requirement
- Safely observe all corporate operating guidelines and procedures
- Observe all company environmental health and safety operating guidelines
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications- Financial management logistics or sales experience
- Working knowledge of environmental statutes and regulations business development revenue enhancement and market penetration
- Leadership experience
- Perform physical functions per job requirements
- Successfully complete a background check drug test and physical by position
- Leadership and management skills
- Proficient in Windows based applications
- Familiarity with EPA DOT NRC and applicable state and local regulations
- Working knowledge of Profit and Loss management
- Working knowledge of Safety.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Attention to detail able to take and follow direction and to perform multiple tasks
- Ability to interface with customers
Valid Drivers license - Knowledgeable with the following regulations (RCRA DOT TSCA etc.
- Comfortable managing finances
- Able to coordinate the oversite of projects
- Able to manage complex tasks
- Knowledgeable of Word Excel PowerPoint Salesforce etc.
